Kaelyn baobei is 11mths old as of yest! ;)

How time flies and in another mth's time, she will be turning 1yr soon!! ;) *Self Denial*

She will be a toddler le not a baby! ;p *LOL*

But to me, she's always my BABY!! ;p

Just to share.... we have had a bad ordeal over the long weekends! ;( Kaelyn was down with stomach flu and vomitted few times and diarrhoea many times!! Brought her to see PD but her diarrhoea still continue and until Sat 19th Sept wee morn, she vomitted aft I latched her and no sooner within tat mere few seconds, I rushed to the toilet to puke! No sooner later, daddy rushed to the toilet as he was having the runs, diarrhoea oso! And a while later, my turn! ;( It was really sucks!! We were totally exhausted and I felt sooo awful as if I was dying! ;( *No joke*
Imagine a sick bb with 2 sick parents! ;( I called my parents for help and aft which they reached my place to help me babysit Kae. By then I was groaning in discomfort and on/off to the loo to puke/lau sai! ;'( Dar A oso the same!! Both of us were down with stomach flu oso!! It was really highly contagious and I din knew it was tat bad! *Sigh*
In the morn, my dad drove us to see GP and were given medications. I was feeling really very sick and lethargic but could not get any rest cos had to sent Kae to the PD again cos she wasn't getting well from the diarrhoea and vomitted few times... Making us so so worried!
Reached TMC and it was damn crowded on a Sat's morn and had to wait for our turn!
To cut short, aft Dr Ang examined her, she concluded tat Kae had to be admitted and put on drip for fear of dehydration as she's still young plus having the runs many times wasn't any joke. My fears came true...... I was crying when they put/administered the drip on her! ;'( My poor baby was wailing so loud and bitterly! My heart was aching so much tat I felt terribly awful!
*Sob* Ended up Kae was in TMC for 3D2N and I was really greatful for my parents for staying ard with me and helping me took care of Kaelyn while I get some needed rest/sleep!
But sad to say that......... my parents and y.bro gotten the stomach flu bug oso!!! They oso had diarrhoea and did vommited too....... *Scary isnt it* Stomach flu was REALLY AND HIGHLY contagious and can be spread thru air-borne germs! ;(
It was really a bad bad freak ordeal tat no one wld ever imagine! *Sigh*

Lesson learnt: Good Health matters more than anything else!!! And oso to practise even more strict and good hygiene!

Well all is history now and we have all recovered and in good shape now! ;)
But poor Kaelyn has lost fair amt of weight!! *Heartpain* Hope I can slowly 'beef' her up again! =)

Anyway now I'm in the midst of preparing and planning for Kae's 1st Birthday Party!! Am soooo looking fwd to it! ;D

My nightmare came true.....Baobei Kaelyn fell off the bed last night while sleeping!!! ;"(

Bet she must had a bad shock! :( Daddy heard bit of her cries so he rushed in, halfway to the room, he heard a loud thud on the floor...when he went in, bb Kae was orie lying face down on the foot of the bed on the floor*HEARTACHE* I quickly rushed in and carried her and coax and pat her!!! She was wailing so badly..... Imagine falling off the bed while SLEEPING?! She must have been traumatised and so are we.... *SIGH*

Aft coaxing/calming her down, I latched her and slowly she drifted off to lala land again....

Dar A and I had a bad scare and we were so worried over the freak accident tat we din slept well.. ;( *Sob*

This morn , I saw a lil slight bruise above her eyebrow and we cont to monitor her for any unusual behaviour till midnoon, while feeding her, her usual fruit puree halfway, she fussed and cried, seeing her feeling uncomfy in the high-chair, so I carried her up and suddenly she just'merlion' out!! Vomitted alot.....!! ;(

Aft vomitting, she seemed fine and back to her chirpy mood again.... Without taking any chance, we headed to the PD's clinic at Thomson. Aft the doc examined her, she didn't find anything wrong with her and mentioned tat her vomitting cld be due to stomach upset/flu etc but asked us to continue monitoring her and prescribed Kae some anti-vomit medicines.

Upon reaching home, no sooner, she pooed and it was a wet poo, quite different from her usual poo nowadays.... aft giving her the medication, she took a long nap bout 1 and half hr later then she woke up. I was still worrying why she's feeling so tired taking an unusual longer nap but Dar A assured me tat she might be really tired aft a whole day, plus the vommiting incident.
Aft waking up and while I'm preparing her porridge, she pooed again and this time was an even wetter poo than the 1st time. Hence I really suspected tat she might be having a stomach upset.
Fed her porridge, she ate a bit but wasn't too keen, as I din wanna force her so ended up I latched her instead.

Just now b4 she slept, she pooed again! 3rd time oso a wet poo!! Really confirmed my doubts tat she really might be having a stomach upset! I do hope it's just a stomach upset and tat her vomiting incident wasn't related to the bed fall. Haiz....Am I just assuring myself? Well I hope not..... Will continue to monitor her and hopefully all is well and fine tml!!

My mum had been nagging me since Kae fell off the bed!! Guess we really have to switched back to sleeping on the mattress on the floor le! ;( Putting Kae back to her cot to sleep doesn't sound feasible as Kae really fusses a lot every night and scare it will worsen it.... so guess the only solution is to sleep on the mattress on the floor liao... Haiz...

A bad day for us and for bb Kae!! I'm really very gek sim/upset over this freak incident tat I totally lost my appetite.... ;( *Sucks* Wish I can stand the pain from her... All I wan now is for Kaelyn to be healthy and strong, nothing else matters...really!!

God pls bless my dearest Kaelyn!

Ok b4 I end this entry, I have something to share...tats is Kaelyn has learnt/know how to drink water from her straw cup le!!! *Applause* ;p I was in fact quite surprised tat she knows how to suck/sip water up the straw quite steadily at her 1st attempt! ;) Heeee dearest Kae Kae, mama is sooo proud of u!! Really! ;D Good job my girl!!!
