Now it's to the start of a mth long of confinement and continual BF(hopefully)!!! ;)
Ok I'm late for my updates on dearest bb @ 38wk!! ;p
On Wed, 15th Oct'08 went for my routine check-up and needless to mention, have to WAIT as usual..... Nothing new! So we proceed to Balestiar to purchase Nic's boy supplements and Dar A went to his office to collect his mails & stuffs and back to T.Payoh again.... See we still able to run all these errands while waiting for my turn!! *Duh..*
And guess it was bout the time for my turn, we went back to the clinic and were so amazed...how come there's no one/patient waiting in the clinic.... There was only a nurse lor...! And the nurse told us, Dr Koh had an emergency case so he was off to the hosp!!! Hence she advised us to come back in another 1 and half hr time!!! *Super sian* No wonder there wasn't any patient waiting inside the clinic lor! ;(
So we went Mos Burger for some food, resting and reading some mag, aft which to Popular bookstore to purchase a photo album, then headed back to the clinic at bout 6.30pm! (Our appt slot was at 3.20pm!) Over at the clinic, overheard the nurse saying she oso wasn't too sure when Dr Koh will be back etc... and we were so worried for how long are we still gonna WAIT??!! Then suddenly the door opened and in came Dr Koh!!! *Relief*
Ok here's bb Kaelyn's updates:
She's still head down, position is right but she isn't tat low or engaged yet, still quite high.... and she's at weight between 3 - 3.2kg now @ 38wk. Dr Koh oso mentioned sometimes it oso depends on mummy's birth canal etc...if it's big for bb to go lower lah..blah blah blah... so for now, fingers crossed that she will go lower and engaged when it's time for her to be out!! ;)
Dr Koh was still saying I'm too ambitious for a big bb given my body size??!! Wat??!! Of cos no lah, just hoping bb be strong and healthy can le ma!! And as of to-date I have gained bout 14kg!!
Hope it wun increase further and remain stagnant.... instead all weight gain goes to bb girl!! *keke* Ok for now I'm trying to be positive aft hearing some stories and encouragements from online frens/experienced mummies! But of cos I wun placed too high hopes for natural birth in case I'm too overwhelmed in event of unforeseen circumstances....Hmmm.....

Okay just here to blog bout the Graco's playpen we purchased! ;)
The delivery was prompt and was in fact slightly earlier than the stated delivery time! =)
So it's assemble time for Dar A!! ;)

I realised that the bassinet's bed was in fact quite low...so have decided to elevate it with an additional mattress! So yest nite, Dar A and I went to CWP's KP in search of the correct size mattress and cover sheets! And luckily we managed to got it aft proper searching and it fits nicely on top of the bassinet! ;) I'm very satisfied now!! *keke*
Ok off to dreamland soon and bb Kaelyn is waiting for her bedtime story le!! ;)
Yest, 8th Oct'08- Was my e.bro's birthday!! Happy Birthday Zacheus and Zayden's daddy!! ;D
Well went for my routine check-up and of cos meaning LONG WAITING TIME AGAIN! Always feel good to see bb again and to know her health-being etc but we really hate to wait at the clinic....always bloody and freaking slow & long waiting time!! ;( *Boooo...* Wat to do leh... But to go to nearby fast-food restaurants, sit down, grabbed some snacks and drinks, read some mag etc to pass time! Tats wat we usually do when we went for check-ups! ;p
Vain me cam-whorm @ home while waiting for Dar A to get ready! ;p
Ok I shall fast fwd now..... ;) Dearest bb is doing well and so is dearest mummy!! *keke* As Dr Koh was trying to scan her to get her est weight now etc.... but alas she was moving ard and her positioning wasn't v.good so it was hard to derive at her weight measurements etc.... But Dr estimated tat her weight now is between 2.8kg-3kg now @ 37wk...which is ideal and wat I hoped for.. ;) Bb Kaelyn is still at her head down position but she's not very low or engaged at all, so gynae predicted that my delivery wun be too soon oso.... Hmmm guess I have to do more walking, climbing, squatting etc to make her goes lower and hopefully engaged soon in another 2-3wks time! =) My mum has been nagging at me oso....asking me to go for walks etc and getting my ass off the couch etc... ;p But other than sleeping for hrs, dun think I spent long hrs nua-ing on bed or sofa watching tv programs oso mah... Haiz...Anyway will try to do more walking etc lah... ;)
And Dr was saying that quite hard to scan bb's face now due to her position and as bb grows and goes head down, it's becoming more difficult to scan and see bb's facial expressions le... *Sian* Then he shld have scan bb's face for us to see in the initial periods mah while it's still within the ability to scan... Haiz..ok watever lah... As long as bb is good and healthy can le, wat more can I asked for... =) So it's weekly check-up from next wk onwards...
Really hope bb be good and makes her appearance by wk39 or so.... ;)

We decided to try out this restaurant named "Aerin's" located at the basement, just opp Soup Spoon. It was more like casual dining style and their food was quite pricey though still affordable... ;)
My choice- Grilled chicken spagetti ;)
Dar A's choice- Seafood pasta....
Din took any other pics cos we waited quite long for the food and was so hungry by then!
Verdict- Nice ambience & great food but quite pricey plus the portion was 'stingy-ly' little! ;p
B4 leaving Raffles place, we went to purchase 1/2 dozen of donuts from J.Co..... since there wasn't any queue plus I wanna try out their donuts which pple mentioned was better than Donut Factory one! ;D
Errrmmmm forgotten to take pics of the yummilicous donuts... ;p Eaten 2 orie, still not bad!! Though nothing beats Krispy Kreme one!! ;p
We left for Novena Sq cos we wanna get the supplements for Nic boy and guess wat....when we reached...the shop was closed!! ;( It was still early..think 7pm+ and they were closed for the day!! Damn!! Wasted our time & petrol!! *Sigh*
Guess we have to drop by again maybe today aft my routine check-up!!
And yes later in the noon, be visiting my gynae for my usual check-up and hope dearest bb, Kaelyn will continue to be head down and no sooner gets engaged! And oso to be of good weight.... Really hope she can be at least 2.8+kg now @ 37wks cos past few days I've been drinking 2 glasses of Mamil mama milk daily!!! ;p Nvmtheless most impt is for bb to be strong and healthy! Can't wait to see her...and hope Dr Koh will make an effort to scan bb's face for us to see!! ;) *Fingers crossed*
