There are so many strollers ard and soooo spoilt for choices... But we decided not to get those v.high end/ex one in case our precious doesn't like to be cuddle in stroller??!! ;p

Yest....finally have my 1st swimming lesson with baby!!! ;D
Hope she likes and savours the feeling of mummy's floating and swimming!!
It has been ages since I last swam!!! Wonder how loooooonnnnnggg ago was tat!! ;p *Ashamed*
Initially it rained....and I was kinda disappointed cos I was all geared up and prepared for tat well needed exercise! *Boooo...* So sian......! But aft dinner ard 7 plus....we looked at the weather and it seem pretty good and cooling.... There's no one by the pool except for the smell of pple 'barbeque-ing' away.... ;}
So we hurried down and went for my long awaited swim!! =)
All I can say is tat I felt really great aft the swim though it's like for a mere half an hr or so... ;p
(Dar A oso scare I tired myself cos since sooo long I din swim le.... ;p)
Slowly building up my stamina and I guess I'm able to swim more/longer the next time..... ;)
Aft which, I had Mac's spicy nuggets, onion rings & fries, some vegetable chips, fruit juice and an apple!!! To fill my once again hungry stomach!! ;p

As the title suggests.....I'm sure many of u including Dar A and I are eager to know our lil baby's gender!!! ;p
Alrighty before disclosing the gender, we had a long wait at the clinic! Dr Koh was away from the clinic doing his 3rd delivery in a row... Wow! *Impressed* Wonder wat's his record for a day of 'deliveries'? ;p
I had to do a blood test which meant no food to be consumed 3hrs b4 the test and oso a collection of urine's sample. And and.....3 small tubes of blood was drew/drained from me! ; Awww....
Aft which and knowing it's gonna be a long long wait, off we went to grab some food and did bit of window shopping.... While @ Kiddy Palace, we saw a boy's romper which wrote: "If u think I'm handsome, take a look at my daddy!" Haaaa sooo sweet and hilarious rite!! :D So I told Dar A, later if we know baby's a boy we will come back and buy this romper!! Heee of cos Dar A was soo happy upon hearing!! *GRIN*
Anyway, as it's still not my turn yet... Dar A decided to head to Balestier 1st to collect Nicky's pills and shampoo while I waited at the clinic....
But surprisingly, the queue was moving quite fast and think they skipped a few nos. and meaning no sooner it will be my turn... So frantically, I faster SMS & inform Dar A cos seriously I dun wan him to miss out on this scan & to reveal our baby's gender!! ;{ Soon Dar A called and asked me to wait for him to arrive rather than gng in alone... cos he's equally as excited to know the gender and on the updates.... =) Hence I told the nurse to let others go in 1st while I waited for Dar A to arrive.... ;)
Luckily he arrived shortly and off we headed to the gynae's room..... =)
As usual, Dr Koh will start off and tok 'craps' b4 touching on serious topics... And I told him I'm so excited to know baby's gender today!! ;p
My daily talks with baby proved to work and he/she did co-operated with Dr Koh and moved his/her legs when Dr did the scannings!! ;)
Scan and scan............................ and he revealed tat bout 90% probability it's a "M" for us!! =) So naturally wat will u think of the letter M when discussing on gender issues??!!!
M = Male right?? So I exclaimed it's a Boy for us issit!!! And my maternal 6th sense will be proven Bingo!! =)
So he asked us to look at the screen where he wrote on the scan pic...!!
Ok let's have some sound effects okay............
Ladies and gentlemen, M = Miss World!!! *LOL* Haaaaa it's not tat farnie lor...!!
Wat a joke he played on us!!! *Bang wall* He still dare to say.... "I din told u M stands for Male only right...!"
Haaaaa ok not tat we are disappointed that baby is a girl... but all along I got tat instincts tat baby likely to be a boy and oso based on some "calculations"!! *LOL* Ok..... my instincts was proven wrong.......... "X"!! ;p
So we are expecting a Minnie Mouse!! And I can have 'fun' dressing up my lil princess!! ;D
*SWEET* Be it Girl or Boy, dear baby is still daddy and mummy's PRECIOUS and we welcome u with big hearts!!! ;D
Heee so tat romper tat we saw earlier wasn't fated to be purchased and I'm gonna get pretty dresses for my girl!! ;) *Yeahness* I did make a promise to bb tat once we got to know the gender I will buy 1st set of clothings for him/her!!! So w/o breaking my promise, here's 2 pretty cutie clothes for our precious girl!! =)
So sweet rite... heee especially the right pc " I'm Little Princess"!!! ;D And yup not forgetting "Baby Minnie"!!! ;p
Will continue/start my shopping frenzy for pretty pretty clothings and accessories!!! Girls can nvm get enuff!!! *LOL* Now I can fully understand why my gfs said for baby girls, u will be spoilt for choices!! ;p How true is it!! ;p
Btw, since yest nite and today...I can feel tat my tummy's skin seems to stretching... in a way getting tighter... Hmmmm.... ;{ Wondering is it due to the expansion of my womb??
Awwww I forgot to mention tat on Fri's nite while trying to sleep..... dearest bb was being very active!! Think he/she was busy doing somersaulting!! ;p And I told Dar A tat most likely baby is a boy!! He/she is a night owl!! =) Just like mummy and daddy!! ;p *Cute*
Really savour this feeling now and then.... ;D *Sweet!*

Yest as planned, we met up with Mic & her hubby-to-be and dined over @ Fish & Co at Wheelock Place.... First, here's wat I worn for the day.... ;)
F21 cream tunic top & leggings... with one of my fav sandals.. and there's Nic!! =p (Can u spot my lil baby bump ;p)Heee pls ignore the CNY's poster greeting pasted on the door... ;p Cos since preggie, my mum forbids us to remove any poster/pastings from the wall etc... Tat explained why our hse still got those CNY's posters and stuffs... ;p
There's also this diaper changing mat included!! ;) I think/hope this bag is a worthy investment!! ;) Aft 30% discount, it costs us bout $124.60(UP: $178.00)!!
Dinner was great and it's always nice catching up with Mic!! Her hubby seems to be a very nice guy and friendly as well... I'm glad & happy for Mic tat she's finally found her prince charming and a good catch too!! ;) (Just like me.... ;pp) OOps!!!! *LOL* Haaa....

Firstly I went to Sasa in search for the Biotherm's facial products but I couldn't find any??!! ;( Think they discontinued retailing their brand's products dun know for watever reasons??!! ; *Sigh* This means I'm left with the option of buying their products off the beauty counters OR make a trip down to Chinatown's Ocean store to get it!! Haiz....
On a happier note, I bot 5 pcs of clothings from Cotton On!! ;D *Smile* There's this sales gng on @ Cotton On and we managed to find some good bargains!! ;) Nvmtheless it's so crowded as usual!! Frankly speaking I find their stuffs quite affordable... quality wise also not bad lah given the prices we paid for... ;) Here's our Cotton On's loots, with courtesy from Dar A!! *Muacks*

To my dismay, when I reached home and upon checking/b4 cutting the price tag I realised tat the green tunic top was actually in XS size instead of size M which I had chosen! ;{ Cos the price tag stated was M size so I din bother to check the inner clothing tag.... ; Luckily still wearable lah.. ;) So lesson learnt!!! "Always rem to check the inner clothing's size tag!!" Haiz... But I'm always very caution one leh... perhaps the crowd was making me giddy!! ;p

Meeting Mic & her husband-to-be tml with Dar A... Probably dining at Fish & Co!! Gonna pass her, her ROM's pressie cos we can't attend her solemnisation ceremony.. ; And her long overdued bday present! ;p
Toking bout Fish & Co, it's been ages since we last ate..... and Dar A had cravings for it for the longest time.... ;p *LOL*
Annual GSS kicks off tml........ and since we will be in town, I hope we can shop ard b4 meeting Mic... ;) Anyway I think to drop by Sasa to get some facial products.... and most imptly, is to collect the Allerhand baby's diaper bag which we had ordered previously during the Isetan PS. =)
And and..I'm feeling more of baby's movements... ;) It's really a very wonderful feeling!!! And I have been telling bb to be co-operative during the coming gynae's checkup on Tuesday..cos we can't wait to know baby's gender so that I can start SHOPPING for bb's clothings!!! Blue or Pink?? ;D
Anyway my SIL just went for her detail scanning @ TMC today and bb confirmed is a BOY! ;)

Anyway, I felt bb's movements or quickening yest!!! ;) It's like fluttering feels and slight kicks especially at the right side of my tummy!! ;) Very pleasant & wonderful feeling!! I first felt it in the noon time while on the bed listening to bb's musical rhymes!! Perhaps he/she likes it and responded to me!! ;D *Smile*
The 2nd time I felt it was during the night time aft my dinner.... ;) Once again, I felt GREAT!! ;D
Now I'm in my 17wk+ and experiencing the following changes-
Fetal Development:
This is a period of rapid growth as the fat begins to form underneath the baby's skin. Baby and placenta are about equal in size now. The tiny heart is pumping as much as 25 quarts of blood a day! The reflexes are probably in place now as the baby sucks, swallows and blinks.
Now about the size of an avocado now, your baby weighs about 6 ounces and is about 5 inches long. Over the next few weeks your baby is about to make a huge jump in size, nearly doubling their weight and getting much longer as well. This will help them to be more proportionate in size, letting the body catch up with the head.

We 'chiong-ed' the Baby/kids dept 1st and hang ard there for bout 2 hrs or so b4 making payment and proceed to have our dinner break!! ;p And I saw Chris there as well.... we chatted a while and she was recommending NUK bottles and teats to me..... if not I wld have bot the Avent one.. ;) Here's out 1st baby's loots!! ;D Oh yes, we still got purchased an Allerhand baby diaper haversack...will get it next week when the stock arrived.. ;)
And there's Nic... forever curious & kaypo-ing.... =)
Tiger's thermo flask and food warmer/jar!! Really at a steal of $50.00 on the promo price cos the usual price set is at $181.00!!! ;)
Overall, the sales was really worth gng cos most of the stuffs are on discounts ranging from 10-30% off the regular prices.... ;) Bot the Pigeon set at promo price of $149.00 which includes the steriliser, baby starter's kit(bottles & stuffs) and a food/milk warmer... =) I think it's a good deal!! Cos I was still considering between Piegeon ster or Avent one.. =) But we din bot the breast pumps yet cos I was still indecisive as to which brand to buy... But have since finalised to 2 choices! Either Medela or Ameda electric one!! ;D
We had Pepper Lunch for dinner and I had the salmon set.... *Yummy* Guess I was hungry aft those shopping and previously "cleared" my stomach oso... ;)
Aft which we proceed back to Isetan for 2nd round... This time on our own personal items.. ;)

Did tried on a few swim wears but couldn't decide on the best one and the prints/colours din really appeal to me... so din buy in the end.. ; Initially wanted to go see some Coach bags but there was a queue.... so it somehow pissed us off as we din wan to wait and join in the crowd again.. ;{
Was sooo tired aft those shopping and we stopped for some Gelato ice-cream b4 heading home.. Tired but fruitful!! ;D
Friday, 16th May- Was tired and having mild headache... so stayed home and dinner was off to mummy place. ;) Drank the "pu tang"(Black chicken brewed with Dong cong cao & etc)again..... and mummy repeated as usual again..."Must finished every sips ah, each cup costs $200+ okay...!" SURE MUMMY!!! Dar A will make sure I finished it all!! ;) Watched Survivor's finale and the winner wasn't wat I hope to be... Anyway really an entertaining and eye-catching season!! ;)
Sat, 17th May- Weather was good & since I'm in good mood mentally and physically, so we decided to go Marina Sq for some shopping and cos we were craving for Kenny Rogers!! ;p Here's wat I worn.... ;)
Topshop tunic dress....luckily still able to fits in cos tummy haven tat big yet... ;p And of cos my Magenta Balenciaga city bag. =)

With full stomachs, we are ready to shop.... and off we went to Kiddy Palace for MORE baby stuffs again!! ;D Din bot much this time, just got some cute mittens/booties, cotton buds and "Baby/Child on Board" car display sign...
And oh yessss!!! I finally got my swim wear and maternity bottoms!!! ;D *Haaapppplllyyy*
Not sure if it's for maternity wear(from Kiddy Palace) but dun care liao lah....anyway I bot it in XL so guess able to last me till 3rd tri bah.. ;) Paddings included oso!! Costs me only $41 aft discount!! ;)
Another cotton capris!! Pretty pc too!! Both of them costs me bout $94.00. Maternity wears are really not cheap, so I oso dun intend to buy a lot oso, will wear as wat deems fit in my ever-expanding wardrobe... ;p
And to add on, my Old Navy's maternity tank tops have arrived in the mail!!! ;)

Sun, 18th May- Today was movie's day with Dar A, my dad and 2 bros.... ;) We watched "Chocolate" tat action packed movie @ CWP. Almost thru out the show, I was munching with pop corns.... ;p Overall not bad lah, just tat really many fighting scenes.... *Yawn a bit* I wld rate it 6.5-7 out of 10.
Dinner we had Long John silver thou I was craving for old interchange's fried Hokkien mee!! ;p

I gave up on their swim wears now and will instead opt to choose those normal tankini swim pcs from local stores.... but will take a larger size so as to accomodate my growing tummy... ;) So no swim wear for me now = No swimming *Boooo....* Hopefully will get it soon! ;D

Friday, 9th May- Nicky's grooming day!! ;) So Dar A and I brought him over to my sis-in-law's sister's (Eileen)pet shop for his 'well deserved' grooming! In fact I was feeling quite guilty cos his nails were quite long le but I din managed to cut & trim for him cos as u kw tat now I'm preggie so it was somehow not too convenient/comfy for me to sit on the floor for bout 1 hr to help him cut & file his nails.... Cramps and numbness usually will be experienced indefinitely, so I dun feel good to having experience tat now... and morever Dar A and my mummy was not giving me the 'Green lights' to cut his nails oso.... ;{ Tats why I felt extremely guilty............. *Sorry Nic*

Sun, 11th May- Mother's Day!!! We went over to Dar A's parents hse for lunchie cos his mummy doesn't wan to lunch/dine out so Dar A suggested 'potluck style' lunch whereby each sibling contributed few dishes and her sis agreed so lunch was settled instead... We contributed fried chicken and home-made apple cocktail fruit salad..... ;D Had a tiring day cos I woke up early to prepare the salad given the previous night when we slept late....
Overall, lunch was a nice & simple one with sushi, fried chicken, cereal prawns & etc.... ;) Oops no pics cos I din bring cammie with me...
Well for my side, we'll be having belated Mother's Day dinner this coming Wed instead... ;D

Today just another routine day for me.... and as usual........ I got headache!! ;\ So sian cos almost everyday I will have headache.....only the degree of 'heaviness' differs!! ;{ *Bang wall* Cos it will affects my mood and appetite!! ;{ Ever since I got preggie, I'm so afraid of having headaches!!! Cos can't take any medicines mah!! ; Though gynae said it's alright to consume those normal panadols, but for bb's sake, I dun wanna consume any medications for fear of complications which u will nvm know... So better play safe than sorry! Hence I can only ENDURE & ENDURE!!! Unless I can't take it, I will use those cooling gel pads, used for fever/pain one.... At least it helps to provide some form of relief for me...... So headaches plllssss GO AWAY & dun hunt me anymore!!! Thank you!!! ;p *LOL*
