Kaelyn turns 5mths old yest, 21st March'09... woooohooo time really flies FAST!! ;p
Brought her to shave her hair b4 she turned 5mths! *keke*

I got sooo much to say and update....many changes gng thru her now but damn...I'm just sooo tired to blog now...Ok I'm too lazy lah...cos sooo sleep-deprived tat my mind and hands are not co-ordinating now! ;p

I be starting her on semi-solids soon when she's bout 5mths 3wks old... 1 week ahead of 6mths, unless I can wait till the 21st when she turns 6mths old! =) Ok shall see how!! ;)

Kaelyn finally flipped successfully today!! *Yeah* Bleaming with joy and happiness!!
She has reached another milestone and Dar A & I are soo happy/proud to witness this achievement of hers! *Clapping hands*

I must admit...nowadays I seldom have the luxury to blog... Even if I got extra time...I will be doing other chores or trying to catch some nap b4 bb Kae wakes up again... Blogging really takes up quite some time for me, cos have to load the pics, type my entry etc..by then my eyes will be half-closed...;p Ok enuff of my nvm endless complaints!

As of last PD checkup for her 2nd vaccine jab @ exactly 4mths old, she is weighing 6.58kg, length of 61cm and head circumference of 40cm. ;) Growing well I supposed so.. =)

Kaelyn 4-mths-old milestone:

> She will smile at u when we call her name.

> Taking her fist and stuffing it into her mouth

> Playing with her fingers and sucking it

> Lifting her head up when put on tummy

>Learning & trying to flip

> Entertain herself with toys/fingers/handkerchief when being left alone

> Reaching out to grab an object

> Automatically open her mouth when she's hungry to be latch

> Making alot of noises now like wooo..ah...cooo...etc
> Laughing out loud when we tickle her

> Looking at the mirror and smiles at us or at herself

> Grabbing and touching her own lil toes

and more... ;)

Being a mum, I guess witnessing all these achievements really means alot to me now...But I believe each & every baby is unique and meets social milestones at his or her own pace. For e.g, Kaelyn has yet know how to flip but she's taking it slowly and I'm still waiting for it to happen right b4 my very own eyes.. ;)

As a SAHM, I enjoy the privileges of witnessing every events/stages she's gng thru and I'm greatful for tat despite my constant nags and complaints tat I missed my 'own me time', so sleep deprived and the list goes on...

I hope I can learn to be a better mum for her and accompany her thru every stages in her life and be there with her, caring for her, supporting/encouraging her, loving her..... u name it..;)

Though sometimes she really test my patience and endurance..Times when I felt sooo tired and fustrated...waking up to nurse her, entertain her, pacifying her etc but guess tats just part and parcel of Motherhood! At times when she really get on my nerves, I hit/beat her butt, screamed/shouted at her..! ;( Aft which I really felt sooo BAD & GUILTY!! ;"( I'm like a bad mama! *Sigh*

And I will be having 2nd thoughts like...Is it better I go back to the workforce and makes me appreciates the time I spend with her etc.... Haiz.. I really pei fu those mummies who can handle work and taking care of bbs at the same time..oso waking up to pump etc... Kudos to them!! ;)But as I say... I'm still learning to be a GOOD MUM! ;) I will be one and hope she will appreciates wat I do for her as she slowly grows up... ;)

Previously I was down with flu and sadly to say she caught my flu bug though I tried my best to avoid her catching my flu by wearing mask etc...But sigh..no use leh... Baby have low immune and still depsite all preventive measures, she still caught my flu bug...and was having a running nose and mild cough! Makes me felt sooo lousy and guilty! ;( But luckily she has since recovered le.. =)

And now at 4mths+, her daily routine is more or less predictable le... which I'm greatful for...at least I'm able to know if she wanna nap, sleep or to play...;) And and I have been doing lotsa shopping for her...*keke* Until Dar A really buay tahan me le! *LOL*

On the 28th Feb'09, I brought bb Kae to attend a mummy & baby gathering organised by the Oct'08 mummies from the SMH! ;)

It's really nice to meet up those mummies whom I chat with in the forum etc...exchanging tips and advices etc... Glad we attended the session! ;D
