Baby updates! =)
Well here's my tum tum taken @ 32wks... ;)
Comparison between 28wk4d & 32 wk ;)
Fetal Development Week by Week – Week 32
How your baby's growing:By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth. Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb.
If you’re feeling kicks in your ribcage it probably means that baby has finally moved into the head down position that 96% of babies are born in. Don’t worry if this hasn’t happened yet, you still have a few weeks left for baby to move. During baby’s awake times their eyes are open and looking around. When they are sleeping their eyes are closed. Eye color is usually blue right now, but this will change with exposure to light, and then it can change again a few months after birth. Baby’s immune system is starting to develop now and sometimes the fingernails are so long that they will scratch themselves. White fat is continuing to accumulate now. This helps baby’s skin appear more pink and diminishes the wrinkly appearance of your little one’s skin.
How your life's changing:To accommodate you and your baby's growing needs, your blood volume has increased 40 to 50 percent since you got pregnant. With your uterus pushing up near your diaphragm and crowding your stomach, the consequences may be
shortness of breath and
heartburn. (V.true indeed!)
To help relieve your discomfort, try sleeping propped up with pillows and eating smaller meals more often. You may have
lower-back pain as your pregnancy advances. If you do, let your caregiver know right away, particularly if you haven't had back pain before, since it can be a sign of
preterm labor. Assuming it's not preterm labor that's ailing you, you can probably blame your growing uterus and hormonal changes for your aching back. Your expanding uterus shifts your center of gravity and stretches out and weakens your abdominal muscles, changing your posture and putting a strain on your back. Hormonal changes in pregnancy loosen your joints and the ligaments that attach your pelvic bones to your spine. This can make you feel less stable and cause pain when you walk, stand, sit for long periods, roll over in bed, get out of a low chair or the tub, bend, or lift things.
Baby precious is really moving quite a lot nowadays and even Dar A has managed to feel and saw her powerful's kicks & punches! Quite amazing! ;DAnd I'm almost done with washing of bb's clothings...except for her bigger/gng-out clothes! ;p Other than that, only left with the washing of her bedding stuffs... Dar A has oso set up the baby cot! And I have oso pack my hosp bag le!!
;) All geared up!Pretty happy at the pace & speed we are doing/preparing things now for her arrival!
;)Tml-
Wed,10th Sept will be gng for my routine check-up again!! So we are able to see bb xuan again!!
;) Hopefully she be good girl and let us see her face again!!
But most imptly is she's growing and absorbing nutrients well! Wonder how heavy is she now!
=) I've been diligently toking to her everyday on asking her to be head down soon and gets engaged since I'm in my 33 wk now....So was thinking it will be wise for her to slowly turn head down..... so I wun be on constant worry if she's still at her tranverse position or breech position...
*Fingers crossed*Okay will be back for more updates! :)
