Went for a swim on Thursday and always felt great aft exercise........ =)
On Friday, went back to my parents' plc to help dad did his a/cs & stuffs and was back home quite late....Hope Nic was not pissed off with us... ;p *LOL*
Dar A and I went Ikea on Sat cos we have decided to get the sofa bed, a cabinet for bb's clothings and a table shelf top for kitchen....plus other nitty gritty stuffs... =)
Me as usual.... ;)
Before we headed to Ikea, Dar A suggested we dine at a HK cafe near Chong Pang there and off we went.... Upon reaching and glancing at their menu, their food somehow dun appeal to us plus it wasn't that of a "HK style cafe"!! More like "zhu chao" food etc.... They even have steamboat etc.....Kinda disappointing... ;{ Anyway we settled to dine at this Western restaurant instead named Vittles...Not sure if I spelled the name correctly anot... Haaa! ;p
The food served are not bad & there are even free popcorn for u to eat while waiting for ur food!! But we din proceed/self-service to take the popcorn oso lah.... ;p
Definitely will go back to this restaurant again cos the prices are affordable plus there's no GST and service charge! ;) Wonderful isn't it... given the higher inflation now.... ;}
Ikea was sooo crowded as usual especially on a Sat! Luckily we dined 1st be heading there cos the restaurant was so jam-packed AS ALWAYS!
Okay we were ready to shop and we started off by choosing those heavy items in which we have decided to opt for it to deliver to our hse together with assembly services.... cos the sofa bed, cabinet and kitchen's table shelf top were too bulky to be loaded to our car... ;p
So aft choosing these 3 items and loading them to the big trolley, we made our payment and went to queue to request for their transport/delivery services... Here's Dar A filling up the application form for Ikea Friends!! =)
Oops think he's not gonna be too pleased to see his pic here cos I took it w/o him knowing!! ;p
Having done with that, we went on to apply for their Ikea's friends membership..... and we are now officially "Friends of Ikea"!! =)
Okay was quite famished le by the time we finished these 2 tasks and I pestered Dar A to go makan their delicious 'Diam' cakes!! We had a hard time finding table/seats and nvmtheless our patience paid off and of cos I got to eat the yummy Diam cakes, almond cake and tea!! ;D
All thanks to Dar A for queuing a long time for it!! ;D
Ready to shop for the 2nd round aft a fulfilling stomach..... ;) We cont to shop for storage boxes, divider compartments & etc..... =)
Feeling a sense of satisfaction aft having getting the items we wanted/needed... =)
BUT.............. Upon reaching our door-step, "something greeted" us with dismayment and anger was starting to fill my stomach!! ;( *Damn PISSED*
Okay I'm not gng to elaborate on this as my anger has since subsided & no point brooding over it and affecting my mood again!! It's not good to get agitated and angry given my current situation.... *Breathe in Breathe out.....*
Anyway, on Sunday we attended a cousin's wedding which was held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.... and here's wat I worn... ;)
Mango's dress which is still 'roomy' for me to fit in!! ;)
Luckily I din have to waste $$ having to search or buy a new dress!! Anyway Dar A defintely will said I SURE will have dresses in my wardrobe which I'm still able to wear one lorrr... ;p So NO excuses for me to buy a new dress to wear for this dinner occasion oso lor!! *LOL*
Vainpot me aft back from the dinner!! ;)
Really soo nice to be able to see cousin Anna & Lyn her daughter again!!! =) Dinner was a great one with the right companion and good food & services! ;D
♥ Respect me & my words...
