Ok finally get my butt off and went to see a GP on my blocked ear! ;
Conclusion: Not water blockage BUT ear wax's blockage!! *WTH*Imagine I was still
'pouring' water into my blocked ear for bout 2 days with hope tat the blockage will be cleared! ;(
*Booooo....*It's the ear wax tat got stucked at the ear's canal which explains the blockage!!
So I was given a ear wax solution to soften the ear wax so that it can
'drops' out eventually on its own.... otherwise I was advised to go back to have my ear wax
'pumped' out instead!
*Sian 1/2*So now I can only put drops of solution few times daily to soften the stupid wax! ;{
Arrrrggghhhh!Wonder shld I go
swimming tml........??
Anyway I'm in my
19wk plus now! ;)
Fetal Development Week by Week – Week 19:Right now your baby is about 6 inches long and weighs about 7 ½ ounces. If you haven’t felt baby move yet, hang in there, because baby is moving all around and soon you’ll recognize and feel those movements.
Your baby’s brain is continuing to develop at an amazing rate. Millions of motor neurons are forming inside the brain, this allows the baby to make voluntary muscle movements, including thumb sucking and moving away from lights. The forebrain is dividing into two hemispheres that will become the two cerebral hemispheres of the brain. The nerve cells that serve the senses are also developing quickly now.
Your baby continues to mimic breathing, with their chest moving up and down taking in amniotic fluid to practice for their birth. Reproductive organs will continue to grow and develop and can be distinguished on an ultrasound. Along with the lanugo, vernix caseosa forms on your baby's skin. Vernix is a white cheesy substance that protects your baby's skin from its aquatic environment ~ imagine how your skin would look if you sat in water for nine months! The placenta continues to grow and nourish the baby.
Maternal Changes: You may be noticing several skin changes. These are hormone-related and will disappear after delivery. You may have the "mask of pregnancy" - blotchy patches on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Itchy skin is also very common. Your skin may be dry and flaky in certain areas and many pregnant women develop rashes, particularly on the stretched skin. You can't prevent stretch marks but lotions or oil can ease the dryness and itching. Drinking lots of water and eating a healthy diet will go a long way in reducing dryness.
Ideas for Dad:
You've felt your baby move within Mom's womb, and BLAM! It hits you like a ton of bricks -
YOU'RE GOING TO BE A FATHER! You're excited and then terrified. You may be questioning yourself as to whether you're ready to be a father or whether you'll be a good dad. If you didn't have a good role model as a child, you may be even more concerned. You may be wondering if you can take care of a family or if you can provide for one. This one little kick can open a Pandora's Box that you weren't prepared to handle. If you find yourself preoccupied with such thoughts, don't worry. You're experiencing a normal reaction to impending fatherhood.
Counting down to next Tues for my detail scanning and able to see our precious again!! ;DBy then I will be in my 5th month/20 wk!! ;)
